President XT Spinning Rod

The President XT spinning rods extend Pflueger's long-running President line with an upgraded blank. Construction uses a blend of 24- and 30-ton graphite, with 2-piece variants built on 24-ton carbon for travel-friendly transport. Guides are stainless steel with zirconia inserts, sized to pass small-diameter braid cleanly and aid casting distance with light lures.

The handle is a split cork grip on Pflueger's custom reel seat, which exposes blank under the trigger for added feel. Actions span Fast, Moderate-Fast, and Extra-Fast across ultralight through medium-heavy powers. Useful for multi-species freshwater anglers chasing bass, walleye, panfish, trout, and steelhead.

Lighter powers cover crappie and trout work with small jigs and inline spinners; medium and medium-heavy models handle jig worms, drop shots, weightless soft plastics, and lighter inshore presentations.
