Mystery
Long-casting pike and seabass rods from 2.40 m to 2.96 m.
Mystery is Tsurinoya's distance line for pike and seabass — four fast-action spinning rods that climb from 2.40 m to 2.96 m and from 176 g to 240 g.
Two of them share the 2.40 m length and differ only in power: S802M takes 10-30 g on 8-17 lb line, S802MH 20-40 g on 10-20 lb. The two longer rods, 2.70 m and 2.96 m, both hold the MH rating, so length rather than power is what separates them. All four run Fuji guides and a 125-147 cm transport length.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 4 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
