The Gold Series is Googan Squad's primary freshwater bass lineup, made for recreational and tournament anglers who want technique-specific blanks without flagship-tier pricing. Models carry names that directly map to techniques: Go-To (all-around), Reaction (crankbaits), Twitch (jerkbaits), Muscle (power presentations), and Finesse (light soft-plastics). The series spans both casting and spinning platforms. Blanks are 30/40-ton composite carbon, kept notably light by blending moduli across the blank profile.
SeaGuide ceramic-insert guides throughout. The exposed-blank reel seat with click-lock system is a mid-range standard. Cork grips. Two-piece construction is available only on the 7'2" MH spinning Go-To. Action ratings range from moderate (for crankbait forgiveness and cast-on-impact behavior) to extra-fast (for immediate hook-set leverage on power techniques). Nine rods total: five casting (6'9"–7'9") and four spinning (7'–7'2").
Casting side covers MH fast through H XF through H moderate-fast for swimbait and punch applications. Spinning side is light-to-medium finesse territory, 6-14 lb line. The 7'9" Muscle XL is the outlier, H power, moderate-fast, 1–5 oz, made for swimbaits and big topwater, well outside the finesse-heavy rest of the series.

A closer look at notable models.
Labeled 'Twitch.' Moderate action and 6'9" length are deliberate choices for jerkbait work, shorter blank loads and fires crisply, moderate taper lets the bait hang on the pause without rod tip interference.
Labeled 'Reaction.' Medium power, moderate action, and a 3/8–1 oz range position this squarely for medium-diving crankbaits and shallow squarebills. The moderate taper allows the fish to load against the blank before the hook set fires.
The only swimbait/big-bait dedicated model in the series. At 7'9" and 1–5 oz lure range it diverges sharply from the rest of the lineup. Moderate-fast action provides enough load to cast heavy lures without sacrificing hook-set leverage on strikes.
