The Quantum Myth is an inshore saltwater spinning series based on HSX30 high-modulus graphite blanks, made for nearshore and back-bay anglers pursuing species from speckled trout and redfish up through tarpon. The design emphasis is on sensitivity and casting distance in a package that tolerates salt and the abrasion of braid, Seaguide zirconia insert guides, Fuji DPS reel seats, and premium cork handles are the hardware baseline. Quantum positions the Myth as factory-paired with its own spinning reels, suggesting optimized balance point as a selling consideration.

HSX30 graphite provides a lightweight, responsive blank without the brittleness of ultra-high-modulus materials. Zirconia guides are more abrasion-resistant than aluminum oxide with braided line at this price point. The 10-model lineup is purely spinning, Casting counterpart in this version is absent. Actions range from MF (moderate fast) on lighter inshore models to M (moderate) on the heavy surf/heavy-cover entries, reflecting differing techniques: MF actions suit soft plastics and paddle tails; M actions absorb the weight of large plugs and absorb run energy from big fish.

Lengths run 7'0", 7'6", and 7'9". The 7'0"–7'6" range in L through MH covers the core inshore finesse market; the two 7'9" models (H and XH, 15–40 lb, 1–6 oz) are a departure into heavier surf-edge and pass-fishing scenarios. The XH 7'9" at 20–40 lb / 1–6 oz sits outside inshore finesse territory entirely, nearer to nearshore structure or heavy surf duty.
