Zeal
Saltwater spinning platform across inshore, jigging, slow pitch, and surf segments.
Zeal is Quantum's saltwater spinning platform, covering inshore, nearshore, vertical jigging, slow pitch jigging, and surf applications. Blanks are HSX24 carbon fusion construction. Guides are stainless steel with zirconia inserts in braid-friendly layouts. Reel seats are Quantum's graphite saltwater seat with double locking nuts.
Grips split by application. Inshore models use cork. Nearshore, jigging, and surf models use rubber shrink-tube grips for wet-handed grip and saltwater durability. All models in this lineup carry the. R2 suffix marking the revision 2 update. The 18-model lineup runs from 6'2" jigging rods to 12' two-piece surf rods.
ZLSJG prefixes denote slow pitch jigging models (6'2" to 6'6") rated 30-130 lb line for vertical work with heavy jigs. ZLS prefixes cover inshore spinning at 7' and 7'6", with longer 8' through 12' lengths handling nearshore and surf duty. Pricing sits in the saltwater mid-tier.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 18 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
