The Sturdy Stik Bigwater Spinning is a budget-entry rod made for casual surf anglers made for stripers, redfish, snook, and other inshore/nearshore species in rough conditions. Solid fiberglass blank throughout, the signature Shakespeare "Sturdy Stik" construction prioritizes durability over sensitivity.

Stainless steel double-bridged guides with ceramic inserts handle heavy monofilament and braid without groove wear. Graphite reel seat with SS hoods. EVA split grips. One-piece construction on both models. Two-rod lineup sits at 6' and 6'6", both MH power, covering the heavier inshore live-bait and cut-bait applications.

The 6'6" steps up to 20-40lb line, suited to heavier bottom rigs or light surf. No spinning/casting split, spinning only. Both models carry "WM" designation (wade/multi-use).
