Crankbait Series
Three-model crankbait-specific casting series, 7'1"–7'6", MF action, $249 MSRP.
A three-model crankbait-dedicated casting series from Trika, a Colorado-based rod company that serves the premium mid-market ($249 MSRP). Built specifically for casting and fishing crankbaits, diving, square-bill, and deep-diving designs, where a moderate-fast action loads the blank sufficiently to launch lures cleanly but cushions the fight to prevent treble hook tears. Made for freshwater bass anglers who want a purpose-matched cranking rod instead of adapting a general-purpose stick.
Functions poorly for techniques requiring fast or extra-fast actions. Blanks use Trika's proprietary construction with 12+1 premium rod guides, custom reel seat, and EVA grips. Moderate-fast (MF) action is consistent across all three models, a deliberate decision to keep the series coherent instead of varying action by length. Rod weight runs 4.6oz (M) to 5.2oz+ (MH/H), which is heavier than comparable Japanese or premium US options but acceptable for the price range. Three-year manufacturer warranty.
Reviews confirm the action is genuinely tuned for crankbaits with appropriate tip flex. Three casting models in ascending power: 7'1" M, 7'4" MH, and 7'6" H. All MF action. Line range steps from 8–17lb (M) up through heavier ratings for the H model. Spinning models is absent. Longer lengths in the heavier-power models reflect the need to load bigger diving crankbaits and handle deeper-water presentations where fish run harder.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 3 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

Model notes
2 of 3 modelsEntry power in the series. The 7'1" length and M rating suit shallow to mid-depth crankbaits (square-bills, medium divers) where a shorter, lighter stick reduces arm fatigue on an all-day cranking pattern.
The most powerful model at 7'6", oriented toward deep-diving crankbaits that require heavy resistance to load and fish that need more authority to turn at the boat. H power in a MF blank still retains the cushioning needed to keep trebles pinned.
