Predator Series

The Trika Predator Series is a dedicated muskie and large pike casting rod lineup designed for anglers throwing heavy baits on North American and European trophy-fish water. All three models are 7'8"–7'10" moderate-fast casting rods in XH, XXH, and XXXH power ratings. At an MSRP of $349 per rod, the series positions in the upper-mid premium segment alongside Daiwa Prorex Stein and top-tier St. Croix muskie sticks. Trika is known for sensitivity-focused engineering across all its series. Blanks are carbon and S-glass composite, which provides both the sensitivity associated with carbon and the impact-resistance and load-dampening that fiberglass adds for fighting large fish and handling heavy lures over long sessions.

AAA cork full-length grips with a custom Trika reel seat featuring oversized cutouts for direct finger-to-blank contact. ALPS aluminum-oxide guides allow large leader knots to pass during the figure-eight and boat-side maneuvers common in muskie fishing. MF action on all three is intentional for muskie: soft enough to load on the cast, stiff enough for a decisive hookset. Power steps are progressive. XH covers mid-weight bucktails and smaller glide baits, XXXH covers magnum baits.
