The ARK Rods Reinforcer Series is the brand's flagship bass rod line, positioned at the high end of the domestic market at $349.95 per rod. It serves experienced tournament anglers and serious recreational fishers who want near-custom performance without reaching into custom rod pricing. Technique labels (jig and worm, skipping, finesse ned rig, topwater, frog, flipping, swimbait) define each model's role explicitly. The series covers freshwater bass fishing from finesse applications through heavy pitching.
Blanks are 46-ton high-modulus carbon fiber with carbon nanotube reinforcement between layers, built using ARK's high-pressure rolling process, an un-sanded finish that leaves the structural material visible through the blank. The construction delivers one of the lightest and most sensitive profiles at this weight class. Components include Fuji PTS/TVS reel seats with soft-touch coating, titanium guides throughout, and Portuguese AAAA-grade cork handles. A lifetime warranty covers the blank.
The 14-model lineup spans 6'8" to 7'6" across 10 casting and 4 spinning rods. Casting actions cover MF (crankbait/topwater), F (standard presentation), and XF (finesse, flipping) profiles. The RFC68MRC is the sole shorter crankbait/topwater casting model; the spinning models (610MLXS, 70MHXS, 71MXS, 73MLXS) are all XF-action and address finesse presentations from 4-17lb. The RFC74HFC and RFC76HXC anchor the heavy end for frog, flipping, and power pitching.
Deeper Dive
A closer look at notable models.
Shortest and lightest casting model at 6'8" M power MF; labeled for jerkbait, small topwater, and light crankbaits. The moderate-fast flex provides crankbait load on the blank while maintaining sensitivity for reaction strikes.
The heaviest spinning model at MH/XF; 8-17lb line on a 7' spinning rod suits heavier finesse presentations, drop shot in deep water, big ned rigs, or medium soft plastics on braid-to-fluorocarbon setups.
Extra-fast M power for finesse jig, ned rig, and underspin at 1/16-1/2oz, a dedicated light-line casting finesse rod, increasingly common for BFS-adjacent applications. Lowest lure floor in the casting lineup.
"All-purpose flipping" designation at H/XF on a 7'6" blank; extra-fast action in a heavy-power rod enables quick hooksets in cover without sacrificing lure-feel on the fall.
