EVO
All-purpose graphite freshwater bass rods with Fuji hardware across UL to H power, entry price point
The Falcon EVO is a freshwater all-purpose series that sits at Falcon's accessible price point, made for bass anglers who want the Falcon brand quality, graphite blanks, 100% Fuji guides and reel seats, cork handles, without paying flagship prices. The lineup covers common freshwater bass techniques including light finesse spinning, medium-power casting, and one dedicated H-power casting model. Not specialized for any single technique; built to be a reliable do-it-all rod for weekend to serious recreational anglers.
Blanks are graphite construction. All hardware is Fuji, guides and reel seat both. Handles are natural cork. These are higher-end component choices for an entry-level price band; Falcon maintains this spec consistency across its lineup tiers. Five-year manufacturer warranty. User reviews note the EVO performs comparably to older, pricier Falcon models, suggesting the series benefits from the brand's manufacturing efficiency instead of material downgrades. The 10-rod lineup splits 5 casting and 5 spinning, lengths 5' to 7'3".
The UL 5' and L 6' spinning models at M action are dedicated finesse tools, the 5' UL (VFS-UL-15, line 2-6lb) is the most specialized, built for ultralight trout or panfish work. The casting side covers M through H power, 6'6" to 7'3"; the 7'3" H (VFC-7-173, F action) handles heavier presentations. Medium-action models (M and M across both casting and spinning) make up the core of the series, suited for general bass fishing.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 10 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

Model notes
2 of 10 modelsThe outlier in the lineup, a dedicated ultralight panfish and trout rod at 5' and 2-6lb line. Unusual within a bass-focused series; useful for streams, ponds, or ice-out trout fishing.
The only H-power model; fast action on a 7'3" H blank at 15-30lb covers heavy cover flipping, punching, or large soft plastic presentations. Note: the listed lure weight range (1/2-1/2oz) appears to be a data entry error in the source.
