A casting-only series based on peacock bass fishing in Amazonian river systems, specifically the Rio Negro fishery in Brazil and similar jungle water. All eight rods are short (5'6"–5'8"), reflecting the preferred Brazilian style: shorter rods for boat control in tight channels, easier topwater lure manipulation, and aggressive hooksets against a hard-mouthed fish. Line ratings of 30–80 lb and lure ratings of 1/2–3/4 oz (up to 1 oz for M models) signal braid-dominant fishing with bigger jigs and prop baits.
The lineup is organized into four named sub-series with distinct blank technologies: Bucoo (multi-grade carbon fiber with Cobra-Cloth reinforcement), Cara (carbon fiber with nano-alloy matrix resin), Marsh (100% graphite), and Lowrider (T2 aerospace-rated carbon fiber). Each sub-series comes in two power variants, a medium or MH option for versatility and a H/fast option for large plugs and heavy jigs.
Handle is split-grip on all models. All eight rods are baitcasting. Three sub-series each offer one MH and one H power variant; Lowrider adds an M power. Lengths stay tight: 5'6"–5'8". Power range MH to H covers almost the entire lineup with one M outlier. Spinning rods in this set is absent.
Deeper Dive
A closer look at notable models.
Falcon describes this as the preferred Brazilian match for azul and butterfly peacocks, shorter length, moderate action for finesse work with lighter jigs relative to the lineup.
Falcon notes this model casts the Braza 1/2 oz jig and 5" prop baits well despite its weight; the shorter fast-H blank loads quickly for tight-quarters presentations.
Cara blank uses nano-alloy matrix resin. Falcon notes this longer (for the series) 5'7" MH/MF rod was the go-to choice for long casts to sand bar points on the Rio Negro mid-river.
Marsh sub-series uses 100% graphite blank; one of the heavier-duty options at H/fast for bigger peacocks or heavier surface plugs.
