Ineffable

The MiFine Ineffable (model series 820/821/822) is an ultralight spinning series made for light-tackle freshwater fishing, trout, perch, small bass, and panfish using micro lures, small softbaits, and inline spinners. The entire lineup sits in UL power with moderate-fast action, and lure ratings top out at 3/8 oz in the heaviest sub-series, making it unsuitable for medium-cover bass work or saltwater use. It is an affordable entry in MiFine's domestic-market-oriented UL lineup, priced around $60.

Blank construction uses MiFine's standard carbon fiber lay-up for the UL category; specific modulus is not publicly stated for this model. Action across all nine rods is MF, providing a consistent loading feel throughout the lineup. The three sub-series (820/821/822) differ in lure weight range instead of length or power: 820 is the lightest (up to 3/16 oz, suited to micro jigs and nymph-style lures), 821 covers 1/32–1/4 oz (general ultralight range), and 822 runs 3/32–3/8 oz for slightly heavier applications such as small spinnerbaits and 1/4-oz jigs.

All nine models are spinning. Lengths repeat across sub-series: 5'11", 6'5", and 6'9". The three lengths cover close-quarters stream fishing (5'11"), general pond and lake use (6'5"), and slightly longer reach casting (6'9"). Each length is available across all three power sub-series, giving the angler nine options organized as a 3-length by 3-weight-range grid.
