Spike Arrow

The Spike Arrow is part of Nories's Trout Program, a lineup designed for area trout fishing in managed stillwater environments. The series consists of three 3-piece pack rods built around the Tz (Trout Zone) finish treatment, with collapsed lengths of 67-69 cm for transport in compact cases. Lengths span 6-foot to 6-foot-2, covering the typical range used at area trout venues in Japan where casting distance is moderate and accuracy to structure features is the primary demand.

The SA60M-Tz at 6 feet is the stoutest model at Medium power with a Fast taper and a lure range of 0.5-5.6 g, suited for larger spoons and medium-weight minnow plugs. The SA62L-Tz steps down to Light power with a Moderate taper for micro-spoon work down to 0.4 g. The SA62M-Tz sits between the two, offering a Fast action with a Light power rating for reactive presentations with small to medium lures.

All three Spike Arrow models are rated for 1-4 lb monofilament and weigh 74-78 g, keeping fatigue low during long sessions. The 3-piece breakdown reflects the series's positioning as a travel-friendly option for anglers who visit multiple venues or transport gear by public transit. Prices range from ¥55,000 to ¥56,000.
