Flightex Groovy

The Flightex Groovy is a five-model light-game series under the Flightex sub-brand, covering two baitcasting (76C, 66C) and three spinning models (80S, 70S, 60S) for sea bass, rockfish, and coastal light-game. Lure ranges are ultra-light to light: 0.3-7g for the smallest spinning models, up to 5-15g for the 76C casting model. All five use Fast action blanks.

The Groovy models fold to 81-109cm, shorter than conventional single-piece rods of the same length, achieved through a joint construction. Rod weights are 139g to 167g. The 70S has a Hard Solid Tip specification. All five are priced at ¥31,800, making them the most accessible rods in the Flightex range.

The PE#0.8-1号 line ratings on most models target the typical shore light-game range where 1-2号 fluorocarbon leader and light jig-heads dominate. The two casting models cover the same technique with baitcasting reels, suited to anglers who prefer the control of a low-profile or overhead reel for short-distance presentations.
