Monstruo Concept Destruction

The Monstruo Concept Destruction (CD) is a seven-model series covering baitcasting and light spinning work for bass in structures requiring accurate short-to-medium casting. Five models are casting (C suffix) and two are spinning (S suffix). Lengths run 6'5" to 7'7" with cast weights from 1/8oz finesse work to 3/8-6oz for the heavyweight casting models.

The CD designation suggests a focus on specific technique or structure rather than the open-water big-plug approach of the G series. Mono ratings run 6lb (68ULS finesse spinning) to 30lb (77HSC heavy casting). The 68ULS and 65LS spinning models at 88g and 99.5g respectively are among the lightest rods in the Monstruo family, targeting small lure finesse work rather than heavy topwater applications.

Pricing is uniform at ¥54,800 for casting models and ¥56,800 for spinning models. The Regular Fast action predominates, with the 71HRC using Fast for the sharpest tip response in the range. The CD series sits alongside the Monstruo G at the same price tier but covers a broader technique range including light finesse work.
