ARK Rods Invoker W Series is a spinning-dominant multi-technique rod lineup with a primary focus on walleye and bass applications. The "W" designation refers to walleye, making this one of the few ARK series not framed around bass exclusively. Target techniques span finesse drop-shotting, light jigging, and medium spinning presentations suited to walleye in rivers and lakes as well as bass on open flats. One casting model is included for anglers who prefer baitcasters for some presentations.
Blanks use 40T HM carbon fiber with carbon nanotube reinforcement between layers, built via ARK's High-Pressure Carbon-Fiber Rolling Technology, the same construction platform as the Invoker Tour Series. ARK Tangle-Free Guides with NanoForce rings replace the Fuji K guides found on the Genesis series. Full cork handles (3A grade) throughout. The un-sanded blank surface is maintained to preserve sensitivity. Priced at $159.99, this slots between the Genesis 2-piece and the Tour-level rods.
Seven models: six spinning (6'9" to 7'6") and one casting (IVW72MMFC, 7'2" M MF). Powers are ML and M, with one MH spinning model. Actions are F and XF. The XF models (IVW69MLXS, IVW76MLXS) are the finesse anchors of the lineup, suited to light jigging and drop-shot at ML power. The MH spinning model (IVW70MHFS) is the heaviest, covering larger swimbaits or heavier jig presentations. The sole casting model handles the same power range as the M spinning siblings.
Deeper Dive
A closer look at notable models.
Primary finesse model. XF action at ML power keeps the tip live for reading bottom composition and detecting light walleye bites on jig or drop-shot presentations. 4–10 lb line covers fluorocarbon finesse and light braid setups.
Heaviest model in the lineup. MH power pushes beyond typical walleye finesse territory into heavier jigging, swimbaits, larger blade baits, and heavy rigs on large rivers. Also covers bass applications with heavier spinning setups.
Only casting model in the series. MF action suits mid-range crankbaits and jerkbaits where a slight flex on the pickup loads the cast smoother. 7'2" provides reach advantage over a shorter baitcaster rod for longer presentations.
Longest XF model. The 7'6" length adds casting distance for large-river walleye where fan-casting to current seams is effective. Same ML power and XF action as the 6'9" sibling but with more reach and line control.
