The Bottom Feeder is Denali's fiberglass catfish and heavy surf rod series at $69.99, built on glass blanks rather than the graphite used across the rest of the Denali lineup. The seven models span 7-foot-6 to 11 feet in Medium, Medium Heavy, and Heavy power, available in matching casting and spinning configurations at 7-foot-6 and 7-foot-10, plus a dedicated 11-foot spinning model for long-distance bait presentations.

Lure and weight ranges reflect catfish and bottom-fishing applications: the BF762 models handle 1-3 oz with 10-20 lb line, the BF763 medium-heavy models step up to 3-5 oz and 20-40 lb for larger channel and blue catfish, and the BF7104 Heavy models are rated for 5-8 oz and 40-60 lb for flathead and big river catfish. The 11-foot BF1103S spinning rod offers reach for bank fishing situations on rivers and reservoirs.

The fiberglass construction provides the shock absorption and durability preferred for catfishing, where rods are frequently placed in rod holders and subjected to sudden runs from large fish. Handle lengths of 14-16 inches accommodate extended grip reach for fighting large catfish.
