Myriad

The Myriad is Denali's core walleye rod series spanning a broad range of lengths and techniques from 5-foot Ultra Light spinning to 12-foot casting rods for long-line and drift-rig presentations. The eighteen-model lineup is split between spinning models covering jigging and vertical presentations and casting models designed for live-bait rigs, drift fishing, and long-line trolling with bottom-contact techniques.

The spinning models range from the MS501UL at 5 feet Ultra Light Moderate for small-jig panfish work to 7-foot-6 Medium Moderate for longer presentations. Several Extra Fast action spinning models at 5-foot-6 through 6-foot-3 target jigging with heavier jigs (3/8-1/2 oz ceiling) and provide quick hooksets. The casting models include 8-foot and 8-foot-6 Moderate Medium rods for walking sinker and Lindy rig work, plus a 12-foot Medium Moderate rod for long-line bottom presentations on large river systems or reservoir tailwaters.

The entry-level MS501UL at $79.99 is the only model at that price point; all other Myriad models are priced at $149.99. The series covers the full spectrum of Midwest and Great Lakes walleye techniques under one product name.
