The Buzz Ramsey series is a signature collaboration between Douglas Outdoors and lure designer/fishing personality Buzz Ramsey, built specifically for the 360-flasher trolling method made for king (chinook) and silver (coho) salmon in Pacific Northwest coastal, bay, and tidal river environments. The technique involves a large spinning flasher ahead of a bait or lure, creating significant water resistance; rods must absorb continuous load while remaining sensitive enough to detect strikes.

Blanks use 24/30-ton carbon fiber with a moderate-fast action tuned to flex adequately under flasher drag while snapping back on a strike. Stainless steel guides with zirconium inserts handle consistent abrasion from heavy monofilament and braid. The ergonomic handles are sized for rod-holder use in downrigger or planer-board setups. All four models are one-piece spinning rods with the 360T identifier denoting the flasher compatibility. Four models cover 9'6" and 10'6" lengths, each in H and XH power.

The 9'6" H (360T 96H) is the standard workhorse for typical Puget Sound or bay salmon fishing with 20–40 lb line and 4–16 oz lures. The 9'6" XH (360T 96XH) steps to 25–50 lb for larger flashers or heavier conditions. The 10'6" variants extend reach for spread management in larger water. H and XH pairings at each length let anglers match to flasher size and current conditions.
