Illusion

Ultra-light freshwater spinning series from MiFine oriented toward sub-gram micro-lure fishing, Area trout management ponds, ajing (saltwater micro-jig for horse mackerel), and light finesse work for small stream fish. Nearly identical in application profile to the MiFine Air Spin series; the Illusion appears to be a separate blank/cosmetics line within the same ultra-light product tier. The Illusion Slash variant (901 series) is specifically referenced in independent reviews as a budget XUL rod for trout area fishing.

Blanks are 30T carbon fiber with a solid (not tubular) tip for sensitivity at sub-gram weights. Fuji O and A ring guides. EVA handle grip. Slow or moderate-fast action depending on variant, the solid tip produces a more through-blanks progressive flex suited to protecting light tippet and amplifying soft bites. Two series identifiers (830, 901) suggest different blank tapers or tip stiffness options at identical lengths. Six models in two blank families (830 and 901), each in three lengths: 180 cm (5'11"), 185 cm (6'1"), 193 cm (6'4").

All XUL spinning, no action modifier confirmed. Lure range 1/32–1/32 oz (sub-gram). Casting variants is absent. Not applicable for lures above 1 g. The lineup mirrors the Air Spin series structure; the key models differ likely in the tip design (solid vs. Tubular) and resulting action character.
