Microbite Travel

The MiFine Microbite Travel is a portable multi-section rod series designed for travel-friendly ultralight and light finesse fishing. Target techniques include ajing (jighead fishing for horse mackerel), light rock fishing, small trout, perch, and similar light freshwater and saltwater applications. Lure weights run from sub-3g (XUL) through approximately 11g (L), placing this firmly in micro-jig, small soft plastic, and tiny hard bait territory. The angler this serves travels frequently and wants a packable rod that doesn't sacrifice too much versus a one-piece equivalent.

All models are multi-piece travel construction with fast action, consistent with lure manipulation and bite detection requirements in ajing and LRF. Both spinning (9194-prefix) and casting (A9194-prefix) variants are offered at identical lengths and powers, which is relatively unusual at this price point, the casting versions allow baitcast finesse (BFS) setups with lightweight spools. Carbon fiber is stated as the blank material; guide brand is not confirmed in accessible sources. Eight models split across four length/power combinations (5'11" XUL, 6'6" UL, 6'11" UL, 7'3" L), each offered in both spinning and casting. Length increases track with power and lure range. The 5'11" XUL is the most compact and most specialised for micro-jig work; the 7'3" L is the most versatile, reaching through sub-11g hard baits and heavier jigheads.
