Outrange

The Outrange is MiFine's UL spinning series made for trout, stream bass, and light perch fishing with lures in the 0.5–5 g range, a step up from the brand's XUL lines. The intended angler works small spinners, light crankbaits, and soft plastics in streams or small lakes. The broader lure ceiling (vs. The Motral Draw / Showtime) makes it more versatile across technique.

Blank is 30T carbon fiber, 2-piece. Tips are hollow instead of solid, which provides a faster, crisper recovery, suited to repeated short casts. Guides are Fuji or RA-type rings with 304 stainless steel frames. 7+1 guide count. Overall construction is comparable to the Pegasus but the lure range differs: Outrange tops at 5 g vs. Pegasus at 3.5 g, and Outrange's floor starts slightly higher at 0.5 g vs. 0.8 g.

Price approximately $64 USD. Six models: 834-series and 904-series each covering 6'1", 6'4", and 6'6" lengths, all spinning, all UL power. No baitcasting option. The three-length spread covers typical Japanese stream-to-lake scenarios; the 6'6" models are the longest practical choice for distance in open water.
