Road Defender
Budget-tier MH/H spinning rods for heavier freshwater lure work at 7'–8'
The MiFine Road Defender is a spinning rod series positioned for heavier lure work, the lure weight ranges (3/8–1.5 oz and 1/2–2.19 oz) indicate medium-heavy to heavy bass or pike/predator lure fishing, likely made for a broader Asian market that uses these weights across freshwater game fish. MiFine is a Chinese OEM-origin brand selling globally through AliExpress and its own site. Technical documentation is sparse in English.
Construction details are not extensively documented in available sources. The three models span two lengths (7' and 8') and two power ratings (MH and H). The 213 cm (7') MH version appears to be a shorter, more maneuverable option; both 244 cm (8') variants offer extended reach, with the H-power 912-1562 244 handling the heaviest lure weight ceiling at 2.19 oz. Blanks are likely carbon composite but specific fiber specifications are not confirmed in available sources.
Retail price is approximately $70 USD, placing it in the budget-to-entry segment. The three-model lineup covers 7' MH, 8' MH, and 8' H, Light or ultralight options is absent. It appears marketed toward anglers made for bass, pike, or large freshwater predators with heavy soft plastics, large swimbaits, or jigs. Independent reviews in English are essentially absent; confidence is low.

Model notes
1 of 3 modelsHeaviest model in the series, H power at 8' with a lure ceiling of 2.19 oz. Suited for large swimbaits, heavy Texas rigs, or pike-made for presentations where sustained load on the blank is expected. The 8' length aids casting distance on open water.
