Endurance

The Powell Endurance is a freshwater bass-oriented rod series built for anglers who want a technique-diverse platform without committing to premium-tier prices. The series spans casting and spinning configurations across a wide range of actions and powers, making it suitable for everything from light finesse spinning presentations through heavy swimbait and punch-fishing casting applications. Powell designs these rods in California, made for tournament-aware Western anglers and serious recreational bass fishers.

Blanks are graphite construction with a reputation for low weight and above-average sensitivity at the price point. The lineup includes both standard graphite models and fiberglass-infused (CB Glass) crankbait entries, a notable differentiation that gives crankbait specialists access to the softer-tip, fish-holding action glass provides. Extra-fast (EF) actions dominate the spinning and many casting models, while glass models carry Moderate-Fast (MF) ratings suited to treble-hook lures. Handle materials are cork; components reflect mid-range quality appropriate for the price bracket.

Fourteen models range primarily around 7-foot lengths (7'–7'6") with a 6' fiberglass crankbait entry as the outlier. Spinning models from L to MH power in XF action cover finesse, medium, and heavier soft-plastic work. Casting models span H-XF utility through MH-F general purpose and two glass crankbait entries (6' and 7') at MH-MF.
