The Powell MAX series is a 17-rod bass lineup built on the brand's MAXUMFIBER blank technology, a high-modulus composite engineered for low weight, high sensitivity and strong recovery. All models share Fuji SiC guides, Fuji reel seats and split cork grips, with each blank tuned to a specific technique window. Model suffixes encode the intended use. CEF models run an extra-fast taper for worms, jigs and other single-hook presentations.

CB models use a moderate-fast composite blank suited to spinnerbaits, swim jigs and treble baits, with CB Glass variants adding more glass content for dedicated crankbait duty. CF models are fast-action utility sticks for mixed moving and bottom contact baits. Spinning models in LEF and MLEF designations run extra-fast tapers for finesse plastics. The series replaces the long-running Endurance line in Powell's bass family.

Length, power and action combinations cover the spread from finesse spinning at 7' through extra-heavy 7'6" cranking sticks, giving anglers a technique-specific option for most freshwater bass presentations.
