Realm

The PureLure Realm is a multi-technique bass lure rod series positioned in PureLure's mid-to-upper tier, developed with input from international lure competition anglers. It serves freshwater lure fishing, primarily bass, but the specs translate to zander, pike, and similar predators, with a bias toward soft-plastic and jig presentations in cover. Both spinning and casting formats are included, with fast to extra-fast actions dominating the series for immediate bite response. Blanks use Toray M40X carbon with four-directional carbon reinforcement to reduce torsional twist under load.

A closer trigger-to-handle distance on casting models is cited as an ergonomic improvement for single-hand control during presentations. Fuji SIC guides and carbon handles round out a component set consistent with the $100–$200 price bracket for Chinese-manufactured performance rods. The construction approach is similar to other PureLure upper-tier offerings (Acuteviolet, Sharpen) but with a bass-specific taper spec. Lengths run 6'4" to 7'0", powers L through H, with both spinning and casting covered.

The overlap in the 6'6" length across three distinct models (662L/M casting, 662L/M spinning, 662ML casting, 662ML spinning) reflects technique differentiation at the same working distance. The 702HC at 7'0" H power (1/4–1 oz) is the heaviest-application entry, suited to heavy jigs and large swimbaits. The 652LS at 6'5" extra-fast light-power spinning is the lightest-touch entry for finesse drop-shot or ned-rig work.
