The Compre Muskie J is a dedicated muskie casting series built around lob-casting heavy baits at maximum range. SeaGuide XBG Zirconia guides reduce line tangle during the long, repetitive casting sessions the fishery demands, and the extra-long handle gives anglers the leverage to move large lures through the water all day. A Fuji reel seat and AAA Cork handle provide secure rod-to-reel connection and casting comfort, while a compression cork butt cap cushions the grip during extended fights.
The five-model lineup covers Heavy and Extra Heavy fast-action blanks from 8 feet to 9 feet 9 inches. Lure weight ratings run from 2 ounces at the low end to 12 ounces at the top, giving anglers options for mid-range search baits through large rubber and hardbaits. Models at 8'6" and above are telescopic, collapsing for easier transport to remote launches or in tight boat storage compartments.

8'6" Extra Heavy telescopic fast-action rated 6-12 oz. The extra half-foot adds casting distance over the 8-foot XH while the telescopic design aids transport. Suited for larger hardbaits and big rubber baits fished from the bank or boat. 16-inch grip.
9-foot Heavy telescopic fast-action rated 3-8 oz. Additional length improves casting arc for distance work on large open water. Heavy power keeps it manageable with mid-weight lures. 17-inch grip provides two-handed casting leverage without excessive weight.
9'9" Extra Heavy telescopic fast-action rated 6-12 oz. The longest and most powerful model in the series, built for maximum casting distance with heavy rubber baits and large hardbaits. The 20-inch rear grip supports extended two-handed casting sessions.
