The Compre Salmon/Steelhead Centerpin series includes three two-piece rods in 11-foot and 13-foot lengths, all carrying a moderate action that supports the controlled float presentation central to centerpin fishing. Moderate action means the blank bends progressively through the mid and lower sections, maintaining contact with a drifting float without transmitting excessive rod movement to the line. All three models carry a 20-inch grip length to accommodate the long two-handed stroke used when mending and managing line across current.
Hardware on each rod consists of AAA cork handles and sloped-frame SeaGuide guides with Zirconia inserts. The Zirconia ring material resists grooving from repeated line contact during long drifts and hook sets. MSRP is $99.99 for each model.
The 11-foot model targets lighter steelhead presentations, while both 13-foot options expand the lineup for larger rivers and heavier line classes. Medium and medium-heavy power options at 13 feet address the range of line diameters and float sizes used across different water types.

The step up in power provides additional leverage on strong runs without sacrificing the moderate action needed for centerpin control.
