COMPRE WALLEYE TROLLING
Purpose-built 8'3" walleye trolling rods with sensitive tips and SeaGuide Zirconia guides
The Compre Walleye Trolling series was developed with input from experienced walleye anglers to address the specific demands of trolling applications. Both rods are built on a single-piece 8'3" blank and use AA Cork and EVA grip material paired with Fuji reel seats for a firm, consistent hold across a range of weather and water conditions.
Guide frames are SeaGuide Zirconia throughout the series, providing smooth, durable line flow suited to the steady loads generated during trolling runs. Tip sensitivity is a design priority, allowing anglers to read subtle strikes even when running multiple rods at varying distances behind the boat.
The two-model lineup covers the primary trolling presentations walleye anglers rely on. The moderate-fast model handles lighter crankbaits and finesse presentations on 10-20 lb monofilament, while the moderate-action variant accommodates heavier lures up to 2 oz for deeper or faster trolling scenarios. Pricing is identical at $99.99, making the series an accessible entry into purpose-built walleye trolling gear.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

Model notes
All 2 modelsAn 8'3" medium-power, moderate-fast action rod rated for 10-20 lb mono and lures from 1/4 to 1 oz. The faster tip makes it more responsive to light crankbaits and provides quicker feedback on subtle strikes, suiting finesse trolling presentations at shallower depths or moderate speeds.
Also 8'3" with medium power, but the moderate action provides a softer, deeper bend suited to heavier lures in the 1/2 to 2 oz range on 10-20 lb mono. The more parabolic flex absorbs surges from larger crankbaits and works well for deeper trolling passes where added load dampening reduces the chance of pulling hooks.
