GRAPPLER TYPE LJ SPIN
Light jigging spinning rods, 6'3", 20 lb line, for finesse jig presentations nearshore and inshore
The Grappler Type LJ Spin is a light jigging spinning rod built for situations where reduced jig weight and lighter line classes are required to produce bites. The blank incorporates Shimano's Spiral X and Hi-Power X construction, providing enhanced compressional and torsional rigidity while keeping overall weight down. A deliberately soft tip section makes it easier to impart action on smaller, lighter jigs, allowing the angler to work a jig with subtlety that stiffer blanks resist.
Both models in the LJ Spin lineup carry a CI4+ reel seat, which is 2.5 times more rigid than standard CI4 material and transmits more tactile feedback from the line and jig to the angler's hand. The carbon-reinforced seat also contributes to overall blank efficiency by reducing energy loss at the connection point between reel and blank. At 6'3" with a 20 lb PowerPro rating, the two LJ Spin models share the same length and line class, differentiating primarily by power rating.
The GRPLJS63MA and GRPLJS63MHA are both single-piece 6'3" blanks with 2" foregrips and 8" rear grips, priced at $329.99 each. The series is aimed at inshore and nearshore jigging applications where the target species or water conditions call for a lighter, more responsive setup than the standard Type J lineup provides.

Model notes
All 2 models6'3" Medium power spinning blank rated for 20 lb PowerPro with a 2" foregrip and 8" rear grip. The M power paired with a soft tip section handles lighter jig weights and gives the angler a wider range of cadences for subtle, finesse-oriented slow and semi-fast jigging in moderate depths.
6'3" Medium Heavy power spinning blank also rated for 20 lb PowerPro, sharing the same grip dimensions as the MA. The MH rating adds backbone for slightly heavier jigs or harder-pulling fish without changing the overall length or line class, offering an option for anglers who need more loading pressure on the same LJ platform.
