The Scimitar Salmon/Steelhead Casting series is a three-rod baitcasting lineup covering 8-foot-6-inch and 9-foot lengths with fast and moderate actions. The series is built with a high-end aesthetic, extended grips, and Titanium Oxide guides rated for use with PowerPro braided line in addition to mono. All models are 2-piece with cork grips. The Scimitar series targets entry-to-mid-tier pricing in the $49.99-$59.99 range.
The two 8-foot-6 models use fast action in medium (8-12 lb, 3/8-3/4 oz) and medium-heavy (10-20 lb, 3/8-1 oz) power for steelhead spinning and casting with spinners, jigs, and drift gear. The 9-foot model shifts to moderate action in heavy class for 10-30 lb line and lures up to 1.5 oz, targeting salmon applications where a softer tip better telegraphs trolled or drifted presentations.
The Scimitar series shares its design language across the casting, trolling, float, and kokanee trolling sub-lines within the Salmon/Steelhead category.

9-foot, heavy class, moderate action. 10-30 lb line, 3/8-1.5 oz. The salmon-oriented casting model in the series, with added length, heavier power, and a softer action for loading under heavier presentations. 2.6-inch foregrip. $59.99.
