The Scimitar Salmon/Steelhead Trolling series is a five-rod lineup of moderate-action baitcasting rods covering 8-foot-6-inch through 10-foot-6-inch lengths for Pacific salmon trolling. All models use a carbon tube handle, Titanium Oxide guides compatible with braided line, and cork foregrips. The 2-piece configuration allows easy transport for boat anglers. The series splits into medium-heavy and heavy-class models. The 8-foot-6 and 10-foot MH models are rated for 10-20 lb line and 1/2-4 oz, covering medium-depth trolling with smaller divers and squids.
