TALAVERA BLUEWATER RING GUIDE UNI BUTT B
2026 B-generation 6'0" XH and XXH conventionals on an ALPS straight aluminum uni-butt, 40-100 lb mono
The Talavera Bluewater Ring Guide Uni Butt B is the 2026 B generation of Shimano North America's Talavera Bluewater uni-butt conventional: two one-piece 6'0" rods with Moderate Fast action, the TEBC60XHUBB (Extra Heavy) and TEBC60XXHUBB (Extra Extra Heavy). Shimano lists the blank material as UD Glass with DIAFLASH carbon-tape reinforcement in the butt section. Guides are Fuji O, the foregrip is 12", and the rear section is an ALPS straight aluminum butt.
Mono ratings are 40-80 lb (XH) and 50-100 lb (XXH); Shimano prints no braid rating for this subfamily. Both list at $199.99. Length, action, power, line ratings, butt and price match the A-generation TEBC60XHUBA and TEBC60XXHUBA. Shimano's store lists the rod type as Trolling and the technique as General.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
