The Teramar NE (Northeast) Casting series is Shimano's purpose-built inshore casting rod lineup for Northeast fisheries, addressing species and techniques common to the region including striped bass, bluefish, weakfish, and fluke in structured and open water environments. Blanks are constructed with TC4 technology, combining a dual-layer advanced dynamic fiber core with inner and outer spirals of high-modulus graphite, producing a durable yet lightweight blank. SeaGuide Zirconia guides provide corrosion resistance throughout, and Fuji reel seats are paired with high-density EVA grips configured to reduce fatigue during prolonged fighting sessions.
