The Teramar WC (West Coast) Spinning C series is built specifically for West Coast inshore and offshore anglers who cast heavy jigs from boats and work kelp beds, rock structure, and open water for yellowtail, calico bass, yellowfin, and bluefin tuna. All three models measure 8'0" in a single-piece configuration, which maximizes blank continuity and casting power. Blanks use TC4 construction, a double-layer core of advanced dynamic fibers wrapped with inner and outer high-modulus graphite spirals. The TC4 system produces a blank described by Shimano as virtually indestructible while retaining lightness and a crisp feel during casting and fighting.

Guides are SeaGuide Zirconia models, providing corrosion resistance in saltwater environments and low line friction. Grips use a Diamond Wrap and EVA combination with a 13-inch rear grip designed for the extended lifting and two-handed pressure common in West Coast party boat and open boat fishing. The 9-inch foregrip accommodates varied hand placements when working heavy jigs at depth or cranking fish up from structure. MSRP is $269.99 across all three models.

The series offers three power ratings in the 8-foot format to match different species and jig weights. The medium model covers 10-30 lb mono line and lighter jig work; the medium-heavy covers 20-40 lb and targets larger species in the mid-range; the heavy model (TERWCS80HC) handles 30-50 lb mono for the heaviest jig work and largest game fish. The "C" designation indicates deckhand configuration with an extended rear grip for leverage in fighting heavy fish.
