Southeast inshore spinning rods with Spiral X blanks for light to heavy inshore presentations
The Teramar XX SE Spinning A series is a Southeast-focused inshore spinning lineup using Shimano's Spiral X and Hi-Power X blank construction. Spiral X wraps carbon tape diagonally in opposing directions around a vertical-fiber core, reducing blank weight while increasing compression and torsional rigidity. Hi-Power X adds an outer layer of diagonally wound tape, adjusted in width and winding angle per rod section to dial in action and twist resistance.
The lineup runs seven models across 7-foot and 8-foot lengths, all one-piece. Actions span Fast and Extra Fast; powers range from Medium to Extra-Extra Heavy. All models use AA Cork grips and Fuji FazLite guides. Lure weight ratings span 1/4 oz up to 5 oz across the series, and mono line ratings span 8-15 lb on the lighter models up to 20-40 lb on the TXES80XXH.
A clear delineation separates Standard (TXES) and Extra Fast (TXESX) subgroups. The TXES70M and TXES70H are paired Fast-action 7-foot rods covering light and medium-heavy inshore work, while the TXES80XXH is the heaviest model, targeting large inshore species requiring heavier tackle. The TXESX subgroup provides Extra Fast action in 7- and 7.5-foot lengths across Medium through Extra-Heavy power, covering a wide range of finesse-to-power presentations.

7-foot, 1-piece, Heavy power, Fast action. Lure weight 1/2-1 oz, mono 15-30 lb. The 3-inch foregrip and 10-inch rear grip add leverage over the Medium model. Targets larger inshore species requiring heavier line and greater rod backbone.
7-foot, 1-piece, Medium power, Extra Fast action. Lure weight 1/4-5/8 oz, mono 8-15 lb. Extra Fast action sharpens tip sensitivity relative to the TXES70M. Well-suited to light finesse presentations and soft plastics requiring quick hooksets.
7-foot, 1-piece, Medium-Heavy power, Extra Fast action. Lure weight 1/2-1.5 oz, mono 12-25 lb. Steps up from the TXESX70M in power while keeping the same 7-foot length. Covers mid-range inshore lure weights with a fast, sensitive tip.
7-foot 6-inch, 1-piece, Medium-Heavy power, Extra Fast action. Lure weight 1/2-1.5 oz, mono 12-25 lb. Adds 6 inches of length over the TXESX70MH at the same power and line rating, providing additional casting reach and leverage during the fight.
8-foot, 1-piece, Extra-Extra Heavy power, Fast action. Lure weight 2-5 oz, mono 20-40 lb. The longest and most powerful model in the series. The 5.5-inch foregrip and 13.7-inch rear grip provide leverage for handling large inshore and nearshore fish on heavy jigs and rigs.
8-foot, 1-piece, Extra-Heavy power, Extra Fast action. Lure weight 3/4-3 oz, mono 15-30 lb. The heaviest Extra Fast model in the lineup. The 4.5-inch foregrip and 13-inch rear grip support two-handed casting at distance with heavier lures and leaders.
