The Terez BW Full Roller Uni Butt series sits at the top of Shimano's offshore rod lineup, built with input from tournament-winning captains. Blanks combine Hi-Power X, Spiral X, and UD Glass construction to maximize structural rigidity and reduce blank twist under load. The tri-layer Spiral X wrapping winds carbon tape diagonally in opposing directions over a vertical-fiber core, while Hi-Power X adds a final diagonal tape layer tuned to the specific power of each model.
All five models in the series use Winthrop X-Caliber full roller guides throughout, eliminating guide-to-line friction under heavy drag pressure. Two shorter models at 4'8" pair with standup harness fishing, while the 6'6" and 7'0" options cover outrigger trolling and flat-line presentations. Models are sold as blade-only with a Uni-Butt connection, allowing anglers to select their own butt section and customize overall length and balance.
Grips use high-density EVA foam on all models. The series spans Medium through Heavy power with Fast action and line ratings from 12-20 lb up to 30-50 lb, covering the range from light wahoo and dolphin trolling to heavier marlin and tuna setups.

At 4'8" with Medium power and 12-20 lb line class, this short standup model is built for harness work on lighter pelagics. The compact length keeps the rod inside the rod holder while fighting fish vertically, and the Winthrop X-Caliber full roller system runs the length of the blank.
Same 6'6" length as the MH but rated Heavy power at 30-50 lb. Suitable for heavier lures and baits on flatlines or outriggers targeting larger tuna, mahi, or mid-size billfish where more lifting power is needed under load.
The 6'6" Medium Heavy handles 20-30 lb line and serves outrigger trolling applications where extra length improves bait separation. Fast action keeps the tip responsive to bait action while the blank maintains enough backbone for sustained drag pressure on mid-size tuna and wahoo.
At 7'0" with Heavy power and 30-50 lb line class, this is the heaviest trolling option in the full roller uni butt lineup. The longer blank works in rigger positions where bait spread is a priority, and the 30-50 lb rating handles larger lures and heavier leaders used for yellowfin tuna and white marlin.
The 7'0" Medium Heavy covers 20-30 lb line class with the added length of a 7-foot blank for wider bait spread in a multi-rod spread. Fast action and full roller guides suit high-speed trolling of rigged ballyhoo or small artificial lures for sailfish and mahi.
