The Terez BW Roller Stripper Uni Butt series combines a Winthrop roller stripper guide at the base of the blank with Fuji SiC ring guides running to the tip. This hybrid guide configuration reduces friction at the highest-load position on the blank during a fight while keeping the overall weight lower than a full roller setup. Blanks incorporate Hi-Power X, Spiral X, and UD Glass technologies consistent with the broader Terez BW family.
Four models cover lengths from 4'8" to 6'6" with power ratings from Medium Heavy to Heavy at Fast action. Line ratings span 20-30 lb for the lighter models up to 30-50 lb for the H versions, with PowerPro braid ratings reaching 50-80 lb. All models are sold as blade-only with a Uni-Butt fitting, allowing custom butt sections.
The roller stripper configuration is suited for multi-day bluewater trips where braided line is used at high drag settings. The roller at the stripper position handles the sharpest bend angle and highest tension, while the SiC guides above it run cooler than all-ring setups during extended fights.

The compact 4'8" Medium model covers 12-20 lb line with a roller stripper and Winthrop roller tip. The short length and lighter power suit standup kite or live-bait applications where a harness is used, keeping the setup manageable during prolonged fights on smaller tuna or mahi.
The 6'6" Heavy at 30-50 lb mono or 50-80 lb braid is the heavier of the two 6'6" models. It is suited for larger baits, heavier leaders, and bigger target species such as yellowfin tuna or wahoo in the 50-80 lb braid range using standard outrigger positions.
At 6'6" and Medium Heavy power, this model handles 20-30 lb mono or 30-65 lb PowerPro braid. The roller stripper position absorbs peak tension during the initial run of a large fish, and the 6'6" length suits outrigger positions in a typical offshore spread.
The 7'0" Medium Heavy covers 20-30 lb mono or 30-65 lb braid. At 7 feet this model provides the widest bait separation in the roller stripper lineup and works in the long outrigger or shotgun position of a multi-rod trolling spread targeting sailfish and smaller tunas.
