7'2" spinning bluewater series in four powers for live-bait and kite fishing
The Terez BW Spin Slick Butt is a 7'2" one-piece spinning rod series designed for offshore live-bait, kite fishing, and light trolling applications where spinning tackle is preferred over conventional. All four models share the same length and fast action, differentiating by power rating to cover line classes from 16-20 lb mono up to 50-80 lb mono. Blanks use the same Spiral X and Hi-Power X construction found across the Terez BW lineup, providing torsional rigidity that keeps the blank from rotating under load during the fight.
The slick butt finish allows the rod to seat cleanly in a fighting belt gimbal. The 6-inch high-density EVA foregrip is shorter than the conventional models in the series, reflecting the different hand position used with spinning tackle at close range. Fuji SiC guides throughout manage both monofilament and braid without excessive friction on long runs.
Four power ratings span the lineup from Medium to Extra Heavy. The lighter models work for kite fishing with live baits on spinning gear, while the Heavy and Extra Heavy handle large mahi and tuna at 30-80 lb mono. The uniform 7'2" length across all power ratings keeps the series consistent in terms of leverage and handling feel regardless of which model is rigged.

All 4 models7'2" Medium, 16-20 lb mono / 20-50 lb braid. The lightest model in the spin slick butt series, suited to kite fishing with small live baits and light spinning tackle on schooling tuna or mahi. The 7'2" length provides good leverage for spinning fights on lighter line at this power rating.
7'2" Medium-Heavy, 20-30 lb mono / 30-65 lb braid. A mid-range option for kite fishing and live-baiting on spinning gear where larger baits or bigger target species demand more backbone than the Medium but the line class remains manageable. Handles most standard offshore spinning reel pairings in the 20-30 lb class.
7'2" Heavy, 30-50 lb mono / 50-80 lb braid. Steps up to the heavy class for offshore spinning on large mahi, wahoo, and mid-size tuna. The H blank at 7'2" provides good stroke length for clearing fish on kite baits and handling runs on heavier spinning reels.
7'2" Extra Heavy, 50-80 lb mono / 65-100 lb braid. The heaviest spinning model in the series, built for big tuna and large pelagics on heavy spinning gear. Rated to 65-100 lb braid, it pairs with large conventional-class spinning reels for situations where maximum drag is needed from a spinning setup.
