The Stono Inshore is Toadfish's entry-level inshore saltwater spinning series, priced around $98 and targeted at anglers pursuing redfish, speckled trout, flounder, and similar inshore species along the Southeast US coast. The Stono name references the Stono River in South Carolina, consistent with the brand's coastal conservation identity. Each rod sold funds 10 square feet of oyster habitat restoration. Suited for light-to-medium inshore work; not built for heavy nearshore jigging or offshore application.

Blanks are described as responsive and load progressively through the midsection, the moderate-fast action is intentional to reduce pulled hooks on light-bite fish. Kigan 3D stainless steel guides throughout. The handle features Toadfish's rubber inlay grip system with a hidden hook keeper inside the butt, a practical detail for wade fishing and boat use. Salt-resistant components throughout. Reviews note the rod punches above its price class in feel and guide quality, though it lacks the high-end blank materials of Toadfish's Elite series.

All six models are spinning, distributed across 6'6", 7'0", and 7'6" lengths. Powers run ML through MH. The 7'0" length appears in three power options (ML, M, MH), giving the most granular choice for matching presentation weight and target species. The 7'6" models (M and MH) are the longest and most powerful, suited to larger water or bigger fish. Casting models is absent.

TF1307 Spinning · 6'6" · M · MF action

Shortest model in the lineup; 6'6" M in moderate-fast action is the most maneuverable for dock fishing, kayak use, or tight marsh channels. Medium power handles most standard inshore presentations without overpowering light tackle.

TF1312 Spinning · 7'6" · MH · MF action

Top of the Stono range; 7'6" MH for heavier jigs, bigger live baits, and larger redfish or flounder in open water. The added length helps with casts across flats or into structure where distance matters.
