Oikaze

The Oikaze is a two-model spinning series for shore fishing that combines plug casting and vertical jigging in a single rod. The Oikaze68 (6'8", Regular action) handles plugs 10-28g and vertical jigs 30-140g on PE#2. The Oikaze70S (7'0", Regular Fast) handles plugs 10-56g and vertical jigs up to 150g on PE#3. Rod weights are 151g and 178g; both are single-piece at 159-161.5cm folded. Priced ¥45,800-¥46,800.

The dual plug/jig weight specification is the defining characteristic: these rods are tuned for anglers who carry one rod from shore and alternate between casting surface plugs at dawn and dropping metal jigs vertically from rocks or piers during the session. The Regular action on the 68 better accommodates the slower working action of plugs; the Regular Fast on the 70S adds versatility for faster jig pitches.

Under the Oikaze sub-brand, these two models function as companion tools: lighter and shorter for close-quarters finesse (68), longer with higher jig ceiling for open-water presentations (70S). Both use OK-prefixed codes.
