Astra
Co-branded WEFOX x PROTAKO iso rods, 5.0 m, 1.25 to 1.75号, sold as a seven-item bundle
Astra is a 2025 collaboration between WEFOX and the Taiwanese rod maker PROTAKO: a three-model iso (磯釣) float-fishing series sold only as a seven-item bundle with a life vest, float bag, sun shirt, neck gaiter, sleeves and a bait bag. The rods are 5.0 m telescopic iso blanks in 1.25号 (S-500), 1.5号 (M-500) and 1.75号 (H-500) classes, rated for leaders of 0.8 to 2.5, 1.5 to 4 and 1.7 to 5号 and float sinker loads of 1 to 3, 1 to 4 and 1 to 5号. WEFOX describes multi-directional inner and outer cross weaving in the blank and attention to the load transfer point and hand balance, with field testing before release. All three carry Fuji T-IMSG titanium-frame tangle-free guides, with the #3 and #4 guides in a new anti-stick pattern for the main line, a painted finish and a grip-textured ASTRA butt. Bundle prices are NT$12,300, NT$12,500 and NT$12,700; the rods are not priced separately, so the price column is left empty.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 3 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
