FreeWill
PURE-line one-piece sliding-rig (遊動丸) bottom rod with an integral hollow white tip
FreeWill is a PURE-line rod developed for the 遊動丸 (sliding tai-rubber style) bottom technique that WEFOX says has grown in Taiwanese boat fishing. The blank is Toray carbon in a one-piece design. Instead of a bonded solid tip, the tip is a softer hollow continuation of the blank, painted white for visibility; the brand states this gives a smoother bend and keeps fish pinned during the fight. Guides are Fuji K-frame stainless with SiC rings, the reel seat is Fuji, and the rear grip is sculpted for comfort. Two models are listed: #60M, 182 cm packed, 190 g, PE 0.8–1.2, jigs 100–250 g, NT$5,200; and #64M, 193 cm packed, 150 g, PE 0.4–0.8, jigs to 150 g, NT$5,000. Tip and butt diameters are 2.1 mm and 27 mm. The product sheet shows red sea bream catches as its field record.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 2 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
