Catch Monster
Boat squid rods in 15 to 21 feet and a 13 foot wire-line beltfish rod
Catch Monster is WEFOX's boat squid (透抽) and beltfish family and the line the brand promotes most heavily in its contests. The Pro Catch Monster sixth generation is offered in 15, 18 and 21 foot lengths, each packing to 158 cm with a 4.8 mm tip and 28 mm butt, rated 300號 and described as carrying 2.5 to 3 斤 of lead. Guides are stainless and braid-wrapped, the reel seat is Fuji, the ferrules are roughened for grip, and a rod bag is included; the detail sheet notes added 30T and 40T carbon cloth and a cross-weave layup. Prices are NT$5,500, NT$6,100 and NT$7,100, and the brand calls it the best-value squid rod for the season. The Catch Monster 刀魚霸子 is a 13 foot, three-piece 80–120號 beltfish rod with braid-wrapped guides, Fuji seat, stainless grip and a 145 cm rod bag, at NT$4,200; its load chart shows the tip under 600 g, 900 g and 1,200 g.
