Bryan Thrift
Pro-designed by Bryan Thrift; covers finesse topwater, cranking, frogging, flipping, and spinning.
The Bryan Thrift signature series is a 13-rod lineup co-designed with BASS Elite Series and Major League Fishing pro Bryan Thrift at $189.99. Eleven casting models are each assigned a named technique reflected in the model designation: FT63MH (finesse topwater), CJS66MH (crankbait/jerkbait), TCR69MH (topwater crankbait), TSB70MH (swim bait), SS69H and SSXL71H (spinnerbait/swim jig in standard and XL), TFR72MH (frog rod), TCB74M/MH/H (three crankbait powers), and MJ73M (multipurpose jig). Two spinning rods round out the series.
The crankbait triplet (TCB74M/MH/H) at 7'4" illustrates Thrift's technique-specific approach: M-Moderate for shallow crankbaits, MH-Moderate for mid-range, and H-Moderate for heavy-bill models. The frog rod (TFR72MH 7'2" MH Moderate-Fast, 12-25 lb, 1/4-3/4 oz) handles both hollow-body frogs and bladed jigs at that power level.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 13 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
