JDM Stunner
JDM-inspired freshwater series for ultimate sensitivity, exceptional balance, and pinpoint accuracy.
The JDM Stunner is a six-rod series drawing on Japanese domestic market rod design conventions, with spec sheets listing line weight in the OZ column rather than the standard lb-based format used elsewhere in the Fitzgerald catalog. The values themselves translate directly to standard lb ranges. All six models are Medium-Heavy, priced at $279.99 and built for high-sensitivity freshwater bass presentations.
Four casting models span 6'8" to 7'3" (all Fast action); two spinning models cover 7'3" and 7'6" for finesse and moderate applications. The dual 7'3" entries in the spec table represent distinct casting and spinning builds of the same length and power designation (JDM ST73MH), differentiated only by rod type. At $279.99, the JDM Stunner sits $50 above the Stunner HD and $50 below the Titan HD, positioning it as the mid-premium freshwater option in the lineup.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 6 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.
