ReKon Saltwater Spinning

Budget-to-mid-tier saltwater spinning series made for inshore and surf anglers who need a range from light pier/jetty work up to heavy surf casting. Species scope includes striped bass, redfish, snook, flounder at the short end and larger surf serves (stripers, sharks, bluefish) at the surf rod lengths. The 7'–8' models address boat/pier use; 9'–12' models are explicit surf rods. One user review noted the 7' heavy (15–30 lb rated) felt more like a 10–17 lb rod, a caveat on KastKing's power ratings running conservative.

Blanks are KastFlex IM6 carbon graphite with KastKing's 2-piece PTS (Power Transition System) ferruling for seamless blank feel across the joint. Zirconium ceramic guides on stainless steel frames provide heat dissipation and corrosion resistance. The 7' medium model features AAA cork handle; MH and H models use EVA grip. Graphite locking reel seat holds large spinning reels securely. Oversized drop shot hook keeper is listed as a standard feature, practical for surf rigs.
