Royale Legend Pro Casting
IM7 graphite technique-specific baitcasting rods for bass, 6'8"–7'10"
The Royale Legend Pro Casting series is KastKing's technique-specific bass casting lineup, with each model labeled for a designated technique, Jig/Worm, Top Water, Bladed Jig, Crankbait, Spinner Bait, Deep Crankin', Jerk Bait, Flippin', Swimbait, Carolina Rig, Heavy Cover. This maps directly to the Celestial Technique approach: instead of selling by power/length alone, each model is configured, blank taper, action, power, length, for one primary presentation. Anglers here are freshwater bass fishermen building a technique-organized rod rack.
Blanks are KastFlex IM7 graphite with Nano resins, a step up from the IM6 used in the Zephyr series. Guides are Fuji Stainless Steel K-Frame with FazLite inserts, which allow looped line tangles to release forward automatically, a practical feature for braid users. Handle uses SlipLock Technology for grip retention when wet. KastKing's PTS (Power Transition System) construction is 2-piece throughout. A built-in hook keeper is positioned on the foregrip. MSRP is $92.99–$94.99. The 11 casting models in this batch run 6'8"–7'10", covering M to H power and fast to moderate action depending on technique.
Moderate models (Crankbait, Deep Crankin', Bladed Jig) use softer actions for treble-hook retention. Fast models (Jig/Worm, Spinner Bait, Top Water, Heavy Cover) use stiffer tapers for solid hooksets. The 7'8" Flippin' and 7'10" Heavy Cover models are the longest and heaviest in the batch.
Shaded band: the spread of the lineup's 11 models, as percentile rank among same-type rods. Solid line = series median · dashed ring = catalog median.

Model notes
4 of 11 modelsCrankbait model. Moderate action is the functional requirement here, the softer tip loads during the cast and, more critically, cushions treble hooks during the fight, preventing fish from shaking free on a parabolic bend. Medium power prevents over-driving hooks.
Deep Crankbait model. 7'5" length and moderate action accommodate the sustained load of deep-diving crankbaits that stay compressed through long retrieves. Slightly heavier power (MH) and lure floor (3/8 oz) than the standard crankbait model, suited to heavier bills and deeper presentations.
Flippin' model. 7'8" H fast action is the standard configuration for pitching and flipping heavy cover. Line to 30 lb and lure to 2 oz handles tungsten-weighted punch rigs in matted vegetation. The second-longest model; the 7'10" HC is the only option with more reach.
Heavy Cover model and longest in the lineup at 7'10". Unusually, the line rating (12–25 lb) is lower than the Flippin' model (15–30 lb), suggesting this is optimized for pitching to isolated heavy cover at distance instead of punching matted vegetation at shorter range.
