Ajing model

Aji-Do (translated from Ajingist Days) is Major Craft's dedicated ajing platform based on horse mackerel (aji) presentations with sub-gram jigheads and small plastics. The range spans four blank generations (1G, 3G, 5G, 7G) plus the entry-tier First Cast Solpara (FCS) variant, with most models offered in solid-tip (/S) and tubular-tip (/T) configurations for bite detection or casting versatility.

Generation tiers carry progressively higher carbon content and refinement: AD1 uses a basic carbon blank, AD3 (3G) is based on Toray T1100G with R360 construction for sensitivity and light weight, AD5 (5G) layers in float and Carolina-rig tunes denoted by /AJI, and AD7 (7G) is the top-tier blank with refined recoil. FCS sits below the AD series as the entry-price option using a tubular or solid tip on Solpara-grade carbon.

Length runs from 5'0" tip-action sticks for pinpoint port casting up to 8'3" float/Carolina specials for distance work. Light (L) and Ultralight (UL) powers cover the standard 0.2-3g jighead window. Medium (M) tunes handle heavier jigheads to roughly 5g for current or wind. Components on production models center on Fuji guides, Fuji reel seats, and EVA grips.
