IRONFLICK

IRONFLICK is the brand's light jigging family. The original bait models use 24-ton unified-elasticity carbon with a tip-to-belly section tuned per model and come in two tapers: QuickDrive (6702QD, 6605QD, 6608QD) for active jigging in deep water and fast current, and NaturalDrive (6902ND), a 6'9" ultra-light model built for sakuramasu and madai jigging where the fish is allowed to load the rod. Powers run 0.2 to 0.8 for jigs rated to 130, 150 and 180 g on PE0.8 to PE2.0, with slow-pitch use to 250 or 300 g stated for the two heavier models. The 6702QD is pitched at Shimokita sakuramasu jigging around 100 m with 130 g jigs and at tachiuo work from one-pitch to high-pitch jerks.

The SpinDrive line adds four 6'3" spinning rods. The 6302SD and 6305SD cover madai jigging and light jigging with 40 to 80 g underhand casts from small boats and mid-ship positions, matched to 3000 to 4000 size reels. The Plus models 6308SD+ and 631SD+ carry an extended rear grip and a stronger butt for nearshore buri and hiramasa on PE1.0 to PE2.5 and jigs to 200 g. Rod weights run 107 to 126 g and list prices from 48,000 to 56,000 yen before tax. The slow-pitch IRONFLICK Aggressive models are listed as their own series.
